A big thanks to everyone for making our 13^th annual Blues Band Talent Competition a success.

Congratulations to our First Place Winner, WSNB. They came out smokin' right from the git-go with all original material.  Jason Gardner on drums and Clay Ford on bass laid down a steady, dynamic back beat, while  Nathan Brown soared on slide guitar and Willie Shane Johnston soared just as high with his powerful vocals and harmonica – impressing both the audience and the judges.  While the judges all agreed that their style was very hard to define, they also agreed that this is a good thing.  They have truly created their own style and it is very original.  Originality is always one of the biggest things that the judges at the International Blues Competition are looking for.  I can't help but believe that WSNB will represent us very well in Memphis this January.
